THE KING'S YACHT
WILL NOT RACE AGAIN
SAILING-MASTER'S COMMENT
(Heceived August 27, 10- ajn.)
LONDON, August 26.
The King's yacht Britannia will not race again, and the King will not race another yacht.
His Majesty is reported to have replied, when offered a faster craft, "I don't want a new yacht. The Britannia is good enough for me." Sir Philip Hunloke, the King's sail-ing-master, commented: "One can't come in last all the time. It is humiliating to the old boat. It is better to retire while she has a wonderful record."
