SOUTHLAND WIN FINAL

INVERCARGILL, August 26. ■■In the final game in the South Island technical colleges' tournament today, Southland defeated Christchurch at Rugby by 11 points to 8. The teams were well matched, but the smaller Southland forwards showed greater dash. For Southland Beck, Rogers, and West scored tries, Rogers converting one. For Christchurch Dini and Mardmg scored tries, Murray converting one. .-.-.■
