NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. The death has occurred of Mr. E. R. Bean, formerly postmaster, at Woodville, Lower Hutt, Collingwood, Te Aro, and Feilding, and relieving postmaster at Wellington. He retired from service fifteen years ago, and has resided since at New Plymouth. ■ He was a very keen bowler. He is survived by his wife and a daughter, Mrs. A. Grant, of Ashburton.
