EARLY MORNING ARREST
An hour after a motor-car belonging to Wong She disappeared from Welling ton, the Petone police came across ■< car in Cuba Street, Petone.- An excit* ing chase ensued, and the car suspect« ed of being the missing one was stop* ped at the Grand National Hotel, tha time-then being 12.30 a.ni.
An arrest was made by Constable L. '' Honeybone, and William Morrison, a labourer, appeared before Mr. A. An-' derson, J.P., today, charged with'con-, verting a car to his own use. He.was remanded to appear at Wellington. '
Another charge that '.will be made, against Morrison concerns a bag-waslx-van that was smashed at Thorndoh last evening. . , ; .
