The full charges for boiler, renewal had not yet been taken to accpunt but as these were being charged against the renewal funds) the trading results for the' year' would not be affected. . iln the omnibus department' the traffic revenue for the month again showed an. increase of £55 as compared with the corresponding month- last year and .the.total was now approximately £220 higher. In addition to this there still remained the transfer from the. ferry department for. hire" of buses during the extended ferry overhaul, period. The trading expenditure for the period was somewhat-higher than ior the corresponding period but the net results were substantially-better.
