FIRE STATISTICS
Fires: dealt with by the .WelUngton Fire Board during the month of July totalled 25, and for the four months to date 131, three more than in the corresponding period last year. Of the fixes 14 were property, 10 chimneys, and one gorse.. During July there were 10 justifiable false alarms and 11 malicious alarms.' Forty-six calls were attended.
