Lady-Bell and Miss Enid Bell, Lowry Bay, left yesterday to visit Mrs. Geoffrey Denniston, Wanganui. Mrs. H. R. Thomas has returned from Dunedin, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Sidey and their small son. Mr. and Mrs. Eric Riddiford are visitors Ho Christchurch for the races. Mrs. M.' A. Toomey, Wadestown, is visiting Auckland. •■ Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lowry, Taihape, are the guests of Mrs. Arthur Donnelly, Christchurch, for Grand National Week. Miss Elizabeth Morgan will be the guest of Miss Lorna Brodie on her return from the Chateau, Tongariro, on Thursday. Mrs. C._ S. Black, Glen Road, Kelburn, will leave on Friday for a visit to Dunedin. Miss Diana Orbell, Timaru, will stay with Mrs. Guy Pascoe, Christchurch, for the races. , Miss Barbara Kebbell, Alfredton, is coming to. Wellington on Thursday. She will be the guest of Mrs. Frank Leckie, Heretauhga, until Saturday. Mrs. G.Stafford Matthews, who has been visiting China -and Japan, returned via Honolulu last week by the Mariposa. ■:..-•• Mr. and Mrs. Terence Watt, The Delta, Marlborough, are the guests of Dr. and Mrs. E. S. McPhail, Rangiora, for Grand National Week. Mrs. C. Trimnell and Miss Nancy Trimnell, Bolton Street/left last night for a visit to Christchurch. ' Miss Kathleen Cameron, Martinborough, will arrive in Wellington tomorrow. She will be the guest of Miss Lorna. Brodie, Tinakori Road.
