BRITISH SKIN-WOOL TRADE

(By Telegraph.— Press Assn.—ropvrieht.i (Received August 13, 10.15 a.m.) LONDON, August 12. The Import Duties Advisory Committee has rejected the application of the Fellmongers' Association for the removal of imported foreign skin-wools from the free list.

The fellmongers contended that unless imports were taxed many businesses must close down.

Importers and users argued that as skin-wools were defined as raw material the Government's policy of not taxing raw materials should operate in this case.
