EXCLUSION OF PALMERSTON
The Mayor of Lower Hutt (Mr. J. W. Andrews) was last evening requested by the Borough Council to place before' the Transport Co-ordination Board at its public sititng .on Monday the views of the Lower Hutt Borough Council on the proposal to exclude Palmerston North from the route of the main passenger air service, from Auckland to Dunedin.
I The Wellington City Council, the Wellington Chamber of Commerce, and, lit is understood, representatives of several other authorities and business interests of the North Island will also appear before .the board, to express protests against the exclusion of Palmerston North from the route.
