FOUND HANGING
(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
Mr. David Ferguson Nelson, a retired inspector of permanent ways, was found hanging in a shed at his home this morning. He had been suffering from a nervous breakdown. He accompanied Mr. E. Casey, then Chief Engineer, to Napier at the time of the earthquake, and was largely responsible for the restoration of rail services, but the strain involved seriously impaired his health.
