TREE PLANTING
LOWER HUTT CEREMONIES
The postponed tree-planting ceremonies, which were to have been held on Arbor Day at Lower.Hutt, will take place tomorrow.
At 9.30 a.m. invited guests, children, and the general public will assemble at the sunken garden opposite Woburn Railway Station, where speeches will be delivered and trees planted. The children of each school will then proceed to plant trees in the streets allocated to them. In the afternoon there will be a ceremony at the Hutt Valley High School.
