TRAMPING r,CLUB GAIETY

The tramping , clubs 'undoubtedly know how to dance as well as tramp, l for a really delightful ball was given last evening Francis Hall by the combined clubs. 1 They had gathered together many friends,'and the function was a^ particularly successful one. The decorations' were' suitable for the occasion, being shields of the various clubs, Tararua, Victoria College, and Paua Clubs, and the Aorangi Ski Clubs, and the, usual charming decorations were- supplemented in this way.

The supper-room was equally daint> lly decoiated>- and an excellent supper ,was served, ,^ t „ Exhibition .dances were given and proved very,pdpular, and the old-time dances, as usual,* were appreciated items. ' *
