HUTT VALLEY V.M.C.A.
A meeting of representatives of organisations interested in the work of the Hutt Valley V.M.C.A. was held yesterday Mr. W. B. Nicholson presided. It was decided to hold a street day in Petone on Friday, August 2, in aid of the "carnival fund. Arrangements we're made for an extensive canvassing campaign to be launched prior to the street day. An energetic committee is leaving no stone unturned to make this event a fitting climax to a highly successful carnival. • ' Mr. Nicholson gave a brief account of how the association came to be established in the Hutt Valley, and asked for continued support for the work among the boys and young men of the district.
