SUNDAY SCHOOL CONCERT
A delightful programme of elocutionary, vocal, and pianoforte items was given by the pupils of Miss Meryl Daniels, and Mr. Norman Izett, L.R.S.M., in the Lyall Bay Baptist Sunday School hall on Saturday evening on behalf of the Sunday school funds. Master Frank Sergeant, the boy soprano, and a group of the Sunday school children also assisted. Since many of the children were winners in th 2 recent Eisteddfod, the performance was of a high standard.
