POLICEMAN'S CLAIM
REFERRED TO APPEAL COURT

AUCKLAND, This Day.
In view of the novel points raised and the wide public importance of the action in which Constable Ernest Stewart, of Auckland, sought to recover damages foi; injuries received while trying to arrest a motor-car thief, his Honour Mr. Justice Fair has decided to refer it to the Court of Appeal. ■ ■Stewart's claim is against E.- G. Bridgers, manufacturer, the owner of the stolen ear.
