AUCKLAND MILK
DEPUTATION TO COUNCIL
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 19. Opposition to the 2 a.m. start for milk roundsmen, advocacy of a sixday week, and-approval of municipal control of milk sales were expressed by a deputation from the. Auckland Dairy Employees' Union which waited on the Metropolitan Milk Council. It was stated that the union was unanimously in 'favour of the municipalisation of the selling of milk. If the council or some other board took over the sales on a block delivery system the union would be satisfied.
