UNDERWRITTEN IN LONDON
CONVERSION AUTHORISATION
(Received July 10, 10 a.m.) LONDON, July 9. An Indian loan of £10,000,000 at 3 per cent., maturing in 1949-52, at 98, has been underwritten. The Treasury has authorised an.' immediate conversion issue of nearly; £12,000,000 of Indian . 6 per cent, 1935-37, repayable on October 15. It is expected that an Australian conversion will follow.
