VALUABLE COLT'S DEATH
To invest 850 guineas in the purchase of a yearling colt who died a couple; of months later is the unfortunate experience that, has, befallen' the Melbourne sportsman Mr. F. Robinson; At the Randwick sales in April he bought the colt by Heroic from the Bomform mare Our Dell, considered at the time to be one of the most attractive youngsters sold. In his early preparation the colt picked up a germ, and, in spite of expert attention, he succumbed.
