CONSTABLE'S CLAIM
DECISION RESERVED
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Decision was reserved yesterday afternoon in the Supreme Court action in which Constable E. E. Stewart claimed £2000 general and £557 special damages from E. G. Bridgers, manufacturer, of Auckland. The case: was a sequel to the constable's effort on a night in September, 1933, to arrest a man who had stolen the defendant's car. He claimed that he would be permanently partially disabled as the result of the injuries he had received.
