PRESS COMMENTS
(Received July 9, 11.30 a.m.) BERLIN, July 8. The Press expects the collapse of the Scheveningen conference. The "AUgemeine Zeitung" points out that Britain, having to protect the Empire's most important line of communication, will strain every effort to put into operation the machinery of the League of Nations. "Der Angrifl" is convinced that Italy means war, and declares that Britain will not allow her to straddle the sources of the Nile and settle the fate of Egypt. .
