MR. LYONS IN AMERICA
VISIT TO WEST POINT
NEW YORK, July 7,
Mr. J. A. Lyons, Prime Minister of Australia, and party, inspected the West Point Military Academy.
It is understood that tomorrow he will visit Washington and will consider giving the Australian representative a more definite official standing in order to enable him to transact matters of direct interest between Australia and the United States with the proper American officials.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyons will dine at the White House next Monday night.
