Mrs. Frank Cowlishaw, Christchurch, is spending a few days in Wellington, and is staying at the Midland Hotel.

Mrs. P. A. Elworthy has returned to South Canterbury from a visit to her father and sister, Archbishop Julius and Miss Julius, Cloudesley, Cashmere Hills, Christchurch.

Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Spence, Auckland, are staying at the Hotel St. George.

Mrs. D. Lane, Havelock North, is visiting Wellington V°r' the races.

Mr. and Mrs. Percy V. Mills, The Terrace, will be passengers by the Rotorua, leaving Auckland next Saturday, for a visit to England and the Continent.

Mrs. Walter Norwood is visiting her mother, Mrs. J. Redpath, Fendalton, Christchurch.

Miss lone Todd, Dunedin, who .has been visiting Wellington, left for Tahiti today. .

Miss Gwen Russell, Hawke-s Bay, is visiting her aunt, Mrs. Pytt-Jackson.

Mrs. A. C. Hinman, Melbourne Road, is visiting Christchurch, where she is the guest of her sister, Mrs. C. J. Morrison, Cashmere Hills.
