LONDON, July 6.
The "Daily Herald" says that negotiations are being completed for a £2,750,000 aircraft merger which provides for the Armstrong-Siddeley Development Company, controlling Arm-strong-Whitworth Aircraft, A. V. Roe and Co., Armstrong-Siddeley Motors, and Air Service Training, combining with Hawker Aircraft, Limited, controlling Gloster Aircraft, Limited. The new company will be known as the Hawker-Siddeley Aircraft Company and will acquire all the ArmstrongSiddeley share capital and 50 per cent, of the Hawker share capital. It will be the biggest aircraft combine in history. • ,
