DROWNING FEARED
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 7. Leaving his home at Devonport yesterday morning to gather firewood on the foreshore, Michael Carter, aged 13 years, has not been seen since. The discovery of a sack and the box he was carrying on the Calliope Dock Wharf, where the warships berth, has led to the beljef that the boy fell into the harbour.
