"SERIAL" OF BABIES
A native woman in the Van Reenen district, South Africa, has just had a "serial" of babies, according to the Johannesburg "Sunday Times." Two mQnths ago she gave birth to a son, who thrived very well, arid ever since then mother and child have lived a normal, healthy life.
To the great amazement of everyone^ concerned —herself as much as anyone else—the woman had a small daughter last week, exactly two months after her previous confinement.
The child is healthy and quite unconcerned at the storms its untimely advent has caused. Natives look on the unprecedented occurrence as something to be treated with superstitious awe.'
According to medical records, similar cases have occurred before.
