WEDDING
O'BRIEN—FREEMAN
A very pretty wedding was solemnised at All Saints' Church, Otaki, recently, of Una, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A..Freeman, of Otaki Beach, and Harold, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. O'Brien, of Karori. The. Rev. F. S. Ramson officiated, and Mrs. Swabey presided at the organ. The bride, who was. escorted by her father, wore a beautiful gown of magnolia satin and lace, cut on classical lines, with lace yoke and long, tightfitting lace sleeves. The skirt formed a graceful train. Her, embroidered tulle veil was caught with a coronet of orange blossom, and fell to the ground forming a second train. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet pf camellias, chrysanthemums, roses, and maidenhair fern. ~,'-. The bride was attended by Miss Florence Whitcombe, of Wanganui (cousin of the bride), and Miss. Sadie O'Brien, of Wellington (sister of the bridegroom). They wore frocks oil blue diagonal suede crepe, Cut on tight-;' fitting lines, with frills over the shoulders and down to the waist.at the back. They wore a halo of pearls and carried posies of bronze and gold chrysanthemums, Iceland poppies, and foliage. Two little twin girls, Yal^is and Margaret Williams, acted as flower girls. They looked charming in early Victorian frocks of apricot satin, with ruckings at the neck and round ■ the hem. They carried posies of violets. Mr. Len. Clarke was best man: and Mr. Jim Shaw groomsman. . A reception was held afterwards at All Saints' Hall. " When Mr. and Mrs. H. G. O'Brien left, the bride was wearing a brbwni.' flecked costume, with hat to match.'
