■ K. R. J. Saxon, who is oh the teaching staff of Merchant Taylors' School, near London, still retains his prowess as an athlete. His reputation as a Rugby player, cricketer, and athlete followed him to Cambridge, and he represented the University on several occasions. New Zealanders will be interested to hear, that in a recent race at the Merchant Taylors' School and at the age of forty he covered the 100 yards in 10 4-ssec.
