RESULTS OF FIRST ROUND

Results of the first round in the Wellington Table Tennis Association's club championships are as foliows:— A Grade. Customs 13, Onslow A 7.' For Customs Pyle won 3 singles and 2 doubles, Osbaldiston 3 singles and 2 doubles, Allen 3 singles and 1 double, Tricker 1 single and 1 double; for Onslow A Bell won 2 singles and 1 double, Bradshaw 2 singles, Longmore 1 '.singie, and 1 double, and Conrick 1. single. Wellington 18, Onslow B 2. For Wellington Dennis and Boniface won 4 singles and 2 doubles each, and Hayvice and Warwick 3 singles and 2 doubles each; for Onslow B, Thompson won 2 singles. Government Life 18, Nathans 2. For Government Life Williams and Kennedy won 4 singles and 2 doubles each, and Howatson and Burnette 3 singles and 2 doubles each; for Nathans Gosling and Maden won 1 single each. Stop Out 11, Taxes 9. For Stop Out Liddicoat, W. Moore, and T. Moore won 2 singles and 2 doubles each, and Mason 1 single and, 2 doubles; for Taxes McFarlane won 4 singles, Chandler 2 singles, Pomeroy 2 singles, ana Moffat 1 single. - ; B Grade.
