JUVENILE THIEVES

It is hoped that a mild epidemic of entry of premises in the business area of Palmerston North has been cleared away by the appearance in the Children's Court yesterday of two boys, one of whom faced nine charges and the other eight. Money taken amounted to £16 3s 9d. The lad with nine charges against him was sent to Borstal for two years, while his companion was placed under the supervision: of the' child welfare officer.
