JUBILEE CHOIR CONCERT.

Tomorrow evening the Jubilee Choir, assisted by well-known artists, will present a programme of specially-selected items at the St. James Theatre Thq proceeds are to be given to the funds of the Men's Shelter, the concert being given in response to an invitation by Mrs Knox Gilmer, who; by her efforts during the past few weeks, has secured financial assistance to enable Jthe Men's Shelter to remain open. The management of St. James placed the theatre and its staff at the disposal of the Jubilee Choir, and R.K.O. Pictures have also loaned a picture, which is to be presented at the conclusion of the musical programme. The assisting artists will include Master Frank Sergeant, boy soprano, who was so successful at the recent Eisteddfod; Mrs. Frank Crawford, contralto; Mr. H. F. Wood, the popular tenor; and Mr. Martin Liddle, the well-known baritone. The accompaniments will be in the efficient hands of Mr. Maxwell Fernie, and the Jubilee Choir will be conducted by Mr. Frank Oakes. The doors will be opened at 7 p.m. for patrons, and a liberal response to this urgent and deserving cause is expected. . . •
