FOG AT AUCKLAND
DELAYS TO SHIPPING
(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
AUCKLAND, May 31.
The unusual spectacle of two vessels manoeuvring in fog to avoid a collision was presented several times on the harbour today. There have been several early morning and evening fogs recently, but it is many months since one has persisted throughout the day. The chief delay to shipping was that caused to the steamer Port Darwin, which was due from Napier at 9 a.m. but did not finally berth until 4.30 p.m.
