HUTT Y.M.C.A. CARNIVAL
A meeting of the combined committees working in the interests of the Hutt Valley Y.M.C.A. Queen Carnival was held on Thursday. Representatives of the committees were present, and an enthusiastic gathering listened to Mr. A. E. Bate, of Masterton Y.M.C.A., who spoke on a similar effort held in that district last year.
Mr. A. J. Daysh, a director of the Masterton Y.M.C.A., also spoke. Many suggestions were forthcoming, and indications are in favour of a highly successful carnival to raise funds for the extension of the work in the Hutt Valley area. A full programme is being arranged, and the committee is having an exceptionally busy time with the organisation. '
