HOROWHENUA PATRIOTIC ASSOCIATION
'The chairman's report to the annual meeting of the Horowhenua Patriotic Association, held at Levin on Wednesday, disclosed accumulated funds, other than loans to soldiers, amounting to over £1800. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Mr. P. W. Goldsmith (chairman). Messrs. C. S. Keed-' well and G. D. Hamilton (Levin), A. McLeavey (Te Horo), C. Nees (Manakau), H. G. Mackay, H. J. McLeavey, G. P. Catley (Ohau), S. A. Broadbelt and J. M. Richards (Ihakara), "W< E. Kilsby (Koputaroa), E. Butt and J. T. Bovis (Shannon), C. F. Atmore and H. Nicholson (Otaki), J. Smith -and A. I. Mackay (Paekakariki), L. Howell (Paraparaumu), C. G. Higginson (Waikanae). Mr. J. L. Arcus, Wellington, was appointed auditor.
