POSTMEN'S "DRIVE."
Colonel A. Cowles, secretary-man-ager of the .Mayor's Metropolitan Relief Committee, has .written, to "The Post" stating'that a paragraph inserted in yesterday's issue has led some of the postmen connected- with the drive which is to be held soon on • behalf of the funds of the committee to think that it is being held on behalf of the Smith Family. .' To remove any misapprehension, Colonel Cowles desires to make it clear that the drive is on behalf of the Mayor's Metropolitan Committee, which covert the whole of Wellington City and suburbs, and not on behalf at the SmJUfr Familv. .
