A modern touch was provided at the Brisbane Bohemia Stadium a week or so1 back on the occasion of a match between Tex Bolt and Joe Dawson. Bolt was in New Zealand. early last "year but was not able to satisfy the Dominions critical audiences that he was in the gate-drawing class.and so found a month's stay ample. Quite early in the bout at Brisbane an ostensibly very irate person of the feminine sex climbed on to the platform, through the ropes and right into the arena, much to the consternation of the three men already busily engagedthere. ; This modern toreador must have known something, for she quickly applied a head lock;to a contestant already in the throes of a Japanese leg hold. The referee .could not make it, out and it took several minutes, to calm the hysterical lady and the much amused and hilariqus; crowd The police had to come to the rescue.
