NEW TRIAL ORDERED
PALMERSTON BURGLARY CASE
(Special to the "Evening Post.")
PALMERSTON N., This Day. After a retirement of four hours, a jury in the Supreme Court yesterday announced disagreement in the! case in which Leo Maurice Dennan, a labourer, aged 24, stood trial on three1 charges arising out of a burglary of a' Rangitikei Street business establishment last November. His Honour then gave the jury extra time to come to a unanimous verdict, but this was not forthcoming. The jury was accordingly discharged, and a new trial ordered.
A feature of the case was evidence j'which disclosed that gelignite had i. been place din the keyhole of the safe.
