A SOCIAL EVENING
. The Parents' Association of the Hutt Valley High School recently entertained parents and friends at a social evening in the school gymnasium. The host and hostess for the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Grey. ' ' The hall was decorated with masses of chrysanthemums, ;while flags and bunting draped the walls. A dainty supper was served by the ladies com-, mittee. ■Among those present were Mr. J«N.Millard (principal), Mrs.M. Price, Misses M. Campbell,-. NY Clibbon,: H. Woodhouse, W.. Mather,".Huggins, M.' Browne, Palmer, Messrs. Mason, Birtles, Dalgleish, $. jMcKenzie, " Dj McKenzie, McNaught; '•' McLeod, Aim, Ramson (all. members of. the school staffh^Mr^and Mrs,i ; ,Oos.teJow r , MrsJ Reynolds, Mr. and Mrs. Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. Hedge,. Mr. and Mrs. Pargetter, Mr. and Mrs. Cbwie, Mr 7 and Mrs. Rogers,, Mr. and Mrs. McDonald, Mr. and Mrs. Langtrey. Mr. and Mrs. Burns, Mr. and Mrs. Sladden, and Mr. and Mrs. Grant. Mr. McNaught was M.C., and the orchestra was under the conductorship' of"1 Mr. Langtry.
