CIVIC PRIDE
(To the Editor.)
Sir,—As we are to have some new members elected to our City Council, I hope they will take steps to prevent householders from depositing garden' refuse, hedge trimmings, grass, etc., on to our roads and paths throughout the city, thus making Wellington appear a dirty place as compared to towns from Auckland to Invercargill. Where' is our civic pride?—l am, etc., "> | CLEAN N STREETS.
