RONBERG—CARTER.
The wedding was solemnised at Mount Carmel Church. Hataitai, re? cently of Alfreda May, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Carter, Hatai-' caL and Oscar, third son of Mrs. H., Ronberg, Palmerston North. Chrysanthemums in autumn shades and palms, had been used by,friends to decoratathe church. The Rev. Monsignor Con>! Nolly officiated. The bride entered the! church with her father, wearing a\ Grecian-cut gown of cream cloth with? metal thread stripe'of gold. A-.gold' cord gathered the panels of the yoke: to form a boat-shaped neck, and a; gold girdle finished the waistlitoe. The' veil, of Brussels net, -lent by a friend,1 was caught to a halo of orange buds and pearls, and fell to cover the train! of the frock. She carried a sheaf of '' cream roses tinted with gold dust and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Marjory Benge, Aorangi, wore a' gown of Margaret rose faille silk, tight: fitting, then flaring from the knees.* Diamante clips caught the sides of the boat-shaped neck. She carried a sheaf' of apricot and gold roses and fern. The little flower-girl, Miss Julie Morrison, niece of the bride, wore a long' frock of cream frilled net over palest' j apricot satin and a flowered muff of [roses and autumn leaves. Both wor©: coronets of natural ■ flowers. Mr. A.' Ronberg, brother. of the .bridegroom* was best man. Mrs. P. P. Lynch played the Wedding March and accompanied Miss Ella Gamble, who "sang. "Aye Maria" during the signing of the register. .The reception was held at Messrs. Gamble and Creed's rooms. Miss J. Milligan supplied the music. The bride's mother, assisted by Miss H. Ronberg, sister of the bridegroom, received the'guests. The former was wearing a dull black elephant silk and lace gown, with black hat and squirrel stole, and the latter a deep cherry and fawn suit with; hat and gloves,to tone. Both carried posies of red roses. Mrs. B. S. Morrison (Darfield), sister of the bride, was in a blue frock and coat trimmed with mole fur and toque to match. When Mr. and Mrs.*O. Ronberg left by car for the north the bride was wearing a fawn-mixture wool suit w with brown < cloth furtrimmed coat and brown 'Velour hat.
