The Hutt Valley team for the annual Hutt Valley-Wellington match hns been selected but the names of those selected to be the city team bare not yet come to hand. The Hutt Valley team Is: —Kobcrtson, Hure, Koss, and Keen (Hutt), Kershaw, Dawson, L. Wales, and ■N. Meldum (P.W.M.C.), J. Devine. H. MBy, 0. Churcher, and W. Steplienson (Petone Central), F. Davfes and H. Harvey (Legion), Mrs. Maitland and Mrs. Nightingale (Hutt Ladies), Mrs. Warner (F.W.M.C.L.), Miss B. Scott »nd Miss E. Greeory (Petone Ladles), Mrs. Greenfleld and Mrs. Nicholas (Hutt Valley Ladies). Emergencies: Mrs. Fuller (P.W.M.C.L.), S. Jones (Petone Central), Mrs. May (Hutt Valley Ladles), Mrs. Ffrost (Hutt Valley Ladies), A. Fisher (P.W.M.C-.), Miss Calder (Hutt Ladles). McHolm' (Hutt), h. Wilkinson (Petone Central). AOTEA CLUB. The third shoot of the first series was held last Wednesday, the attendance being very good. A. Harris is leading In the A grade but the B grade Is very open, seven competitors being level. Possibles were shot by B. J. Leydon and W. G. ScambaTy. Miss Till was unfortunate in finishing with a nine for 69. Passes will be issued at the top gate of the show grounds between 7 and S.SO p.m. for next Wednesday's shoot. BROOKLYN CLUB. The first series in the club competitions was completed last week. The championship and second series will commence on Monday, April 20. Next Tuesday the first Holcroft Shield match for the season will be held. The club will be entering at least three teams in the Inter-club matches and Is also entering teams for the Osmond and Ladles' Shields. "EVENING POST" CLUB. Next Monday will be the last practice night before settling down to serious competition shooting. The figure of merit - system used so successfully last season will again be used. Shooting so far has been very erratic but it is hoped that members will be in good form by next week. LOWER HUTT LADIES. The official opening of the season took place last Tuesday, when a number of visitors were present. Shooting took the form of an-"Own Start" handicap, each person having a partner. The prizes, which .were presented by Mr. McHolm, were by Miss 111. Calder and Mrs. Maitland. Consolation prizes were received by Miss K. Munro and Miss J. Swift. Games occupied part of the evening and the mixed towns competition was won by Miss JU. There was a large attendance of members at the range last Tuesday evening. The tic In the Congreve Jug competition was shot off and resulted In B. S. Churcher being the winner with 30 points. Messrs. R. Congreve,, H. Lane, and A. MacDowall each scored 29 P°>'«sThe shoot for the weekly Challenge Shields resulted in Miss B. Lindsay. J. Farmer, and K.
