ANNUAL REGATTA The annual regatta held between the various Sea Scout patrols of New Zealand was completed on Saturday afternoon, and resulted in all three trophies being won by Wellington crews. Detailed results of the races held after "The Post" had gone to press on Satm-. day are as follows:— AOKANGI CUP (JUNIOR). Semi -final.—Port Nicholson (Wellington), 1; Petone, 2. Won by two lengths. Time, 6mla 27.SCC. Port Nicholson broke wafer first and keeping a Kood stroke maintained their lead. Final.—Port Nicholson (Wellington), 1; CotHtißwood (Wellington). 2. Won by V/z lengths. Time, Gmin 20 2-ssec. ' Collingwood went away first and held- Port Nicholson until abreast of the Baths, where they sprinted and took tho lead, finishing strongly. WASHBOURNE CUP (SENIOR). Final.—Port Nicholson, 1; Iron Duko (Ne!-. son), 2. Won by eight lengths. Time, flmla Sosec. Iron Duke drew away at the start but at the baths Port Nicholson spurted and cleared away, steadily increasing tho lead over the latter stages. NELSON CUP (ROVERS), Final.—Collingwood (Wellington), 1; CMtlecliff (Wanganui), 2. Won by nine lengths. Time, Bmin 45 2-ssec. Castleeliff broke water first and kept • lead until abreast of Oriental Bay tram ehed, where Collingwood shot ahead. OFFICERS1 RACK. North Island, 1; South Island, 2. AVon by two lengths. - The skipper of the North Island ' officers' crew, after being presented with an empty paiut tin, was duly christened by being thrown Into the harbour by tho losers. The Leslie Shore Memorial Cup donated by Mrs. Ritson for the crew who showed the best rowing style during the day was won by Colllngwood Rovers No. 1 crew.
