WELLINpTPN CENTRE NIEETS The Wellington Bowling Centre decidad last night to nominate the Hon.' W. Perry-, M.L.0., as vice-president o£: the Dominion Bowling Council. .His nomination Was not contested. ■.• ■.:,-■• . ;>, ; . | Mr. H. G. Mayer, who< moved the resolution, said he did not'suppose there had been any nomination in the history of the New Zealand Bowling Association that gave euch satisfaction. Mr. S. M. Stone said that nobody would be more able tP carry out the duties of the office than Mr. Perry. Other delegates agreed with the remarks of these speakers. Messrs. :'S. M. .Stone and J. Kershaw were nominated as North Island non-offi-cial members of the council. It was decided to , support, the Christchurch Centre's' nominations for president and treasurer. ; '. . . Owing Jo the sun setting ' earlier at Easter, it' was decided that section play in the Easter tournament consist of throe games of 18 heads each a day instead of 21 heads, the method of post-section play, to be decided by the committee. The annual meeting of the centre will bo held on, July 16. the Tuesday following the annual meeting of the New Zealand Bowling Council on July 10.
