DOG REGISTRATION
Since January 1 1526 dogs, rather more than half those registered last year, have been registered at the Town Hall. Registrations have come in more rapidly than last year's. Although registration is compulsory, the procedure adopted is fairly elastic. Hubbish Collectors notify the Corporation of the presence of dogs at the houses, and owners who "have not registered are given four days in which to do so. -
