A LADIES' AUXILIARY;
A ladies';; auxiliary;-was :Inaugurated -for the"■Hutt Valley at.a .recent meeting of people interested in the work of the YM.C.A. The provisional committee which has been carrying on for a few months was disbanded and a 'permanent auxiliary has now taken its place.
A constitution was adopted and the election of officers for the-next twelve months followed. The results of the election were as follows:—President, Mrs. H. W. Kersley; hon, president, Mrs. W. B. Nicholson; vice-presidents, Mesdames W. Nash, J. W. Andrewi and D. Lees; secretary, Mrs.. ,C: A. Fuller; treasurer, Mrs. E. X., Read; committee. Mesdames J., R. Carey,; Garvitch. King, and Bourne.
Ways and means of raising money to help the Hutt Valley V.M.C.A. wera discussed, but decision was left to ;th« next meeting, which.will be held .'duri ing March. All interested •in this good work will be welcomed at this meet* ing. ■.■'/■.■ ' .■•.■■' ;■• ■: :
