STILL POSTPONED
GOLD CLAUSE DECISION
AMERICAN SUPREME COURT
WASHINGTON, February 9. The Supreme Court again .today took the unusual action of: announcing that the gold clause decision will not be handed down on Monday. 'It was thought possible that the decision might be isued today, and certainly on Monday, but the Judges indicated that they were still considering the' matter. The Administration continued to. refrain from comment on the possible effect of an adverse decision, but it is understood Mr. Cummings and Mr. Roosevelt discussed the matter for two hours today, apparently considering what action to take if necessary. It is pointed out that the postponement is due to the fact that Tuesday is a legal holiday, being Lincoln's birthday, and ; that the exchanges would be closed in America but open abroad.;
