MURITAI TENNIS CLUB

The Muritai Tennis ' Club's new pavilion was opened yesterday by the Mayor of Eastbourne, Mr. E-. W. Wise. The pavilion is one of the finest possessed by a tennis club "in the Wellington district.. It was felt by the club that with the provision of ; water ' and drainage at Eastbourne the' time was ripe for "the construction of a new building, which," besides giving adequate space for dressing-rooms and;, a .dancing floor, would also contain all modern equipment. Mr. Wise congratulated the club on the attainment of its ambition, and presented the trophies won at the East Harbour, tournament.
