RIDERS INJURED IN SYDNEY

SYDNEY, February 2. During speedway racing at the Showgrounds last night, two sensational accidents occurred, in one of which the English Test captain ("Tiger" Stevenson) and ' a team-mate, Cliff Parkinson, figured.

The pair came . down and their machines were flung,high in the air. Stevenson escaped with minor injuries, but Parkinson received concussion and abrasions, and his condition is serious.
