HOPES TO REACH 300 M.P.H.

Sir. Malcolm Campbell arrived in New York with his racing car the Bluebird, ' preparatory to another attempt to reach a 1 300-mile-ari-hour record on Daytona Beach between February 14 and February 20, when the winds and tide are usually favourable. •'Sir Malcolm said : "Theoretically there is no limit to the speed an automobile might attain; but I shall be satisfied if . I reach 300 miles' ■'■ an'•••'hour." He insisted that the Bluebird was capable of establishing a new record.'
