CHBISTCHUKCH, This Day.

• Before Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., this morning, Gwendoline Mavis Evans, aged 27, senior nurse at the Cashmere Sanatorium, admitted stealing money from three of her fellow-workers^ 'Jn one case she took £2 from a letter posted by a nurse, and in two other cases she took money from nurses' rooms while the owners were absent. The accused was remanded on bail until Fel)xuray 7, in order to allow a report on the case to W made by the Salvation Army Adjutant.

i The police said that some of the stolen money had been spent, £2 had been- refunded, and over £.8 had not boen refunded.
