Tho "Daily Telegraph's'.' aviation correspondent saya that a joint delegation from' the Air Ministiy and the Post Office leaves Croydon by air tomorrow for India, Siam, Singapore, and Australia. It consists of Mi. Frank Bertram, Deputy Director of Civil Aviation; Mr. Thomas Guinness, who is Parliamentary Private Secretary to Sir Philip Sassoon, Under-Secrctary for Air; Sir Frederick Williamson, Director of Postal Services; Sir Edward Campbell, Parliamentary Piivate Secretary to Sir Kingsley Wood, Post-master-General.
Their aim is the acceleration and development of Empire air services. The delegates . will discuss with..,local experts ground organisation, including provision . for wireless services, nightflying beacons and landing guides, and co-ordination of tho network of Empire air services'; ' •
The full scheme ■contemplated will take ,two years to prepare. In the meantime the types of aircraft, to be employed will be produced.
